Tyler O'Neil joins Newsmax's Rick Leventhal and American Institute of Economic Research's Paul Mueller to discuss the Office of Comptroller of the Currency's new report on debanking. O'Neil, who wrote the book "Making Hate Pay: The Corruption of the Southern Poverty Law Center," highlights how the report shows the SPLC's influence on debanking. At least 4 major banks—JP Morgan, PNC Bank, TD Bank, and Wells Fargo—cited the SPLC in making reputational risk decisions. The SPLC brands mainstream conservative and Christian organizations "hate groups," placing them on a map alongside the Ku Klux Klan. The SPLC currently faces federal fraud charges, to which it has pleaded not guilty.
