Explaining the Left's Dark Money and Influence Network

Breaking down the sprawling "Beautiful Mind"/Sheldon Whitehouse chart in "The Woketopus."

I recently joined “The Sean Spicer Show” to break down the research in the book. I appreciated Spicer asking me to explain the Left’s dark money and influence network, the chart that plots the money and influence I trace in “The Woketopus.”

I call this my “Beautiful Mind” or Sheldon Whitehouse chart—after the Rhode Island senator notorious for using big charts to suggest conservative donors are pulling the strings in Washington. Perhaps Sheldon Whitehouse would think twice about demonizing the Supreme Court decision Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission (2010) if he knew that the Left has far more dark money than the Right.
